Waiting for the World to End is an hour long adult drama series written by Aleksander Rosenberg
Waiting for the World to End takes place in a post apocalyptic America where anyone can spontaneously mutate. This series follows Logan and Jamie, two mutated humans, as they journey across the northeast whilst evading hunters and monsters.
In a world where humans, the Evolved, and the world ending monsters called the Crazed all fight for survival, Logan and Jamie will soon learn just how quickly everything can fall apart.
Mutants present in a variety of ways. Horns, limbs, scales; any and all anomaly's are possible. It is a painful process often resulting in long lasting wounds as the body grows and changes.

Waiting for the World to End was written as my final capstone at the Rochester Institute of Technology's School of Film and Animation. This series stars a trans main character and focuses on themes such as change and adaptation.
I wanted to utilize my skills in special effects to provide a visual representation of a major aspect of the series: the mutants. As a screenwriter and sfx artist, it was important to me to begin bringing the script off the page and into our world. Doing so not only aided in the writing process, but also pushed the limits and helped me understand how to put this piece into production.
The Waiting for the World to End pilot is currently in the competition circuit following its completion in 2025.
